Mission Statement
The Climate and Global Dynamics Division research goals
are:
- to develop a comprehensive understanding of the climate system
components and the interactions among them;
- to represent this understanding in models of the components and
the coupled climate system;
- to use these models to provide a basis for prediction of climate;
and
- to use these models to investigate important scientific and
societal questions.
