You can use 'ccm2nc' to convert a ccm history file to a netcdf file.
The latest version of GrADS can process such a netcdf file properly
with 'sdfopen' command instead of normal file open command 'open'.
I'm using GrADS version 1.7 Beta 9 on a Sun workstation.
