of the model do by default output initial datasets monthly.

http://neit.cgd.ucar.edu/cms/ccm3/datasets/
to see a list of the CCM control simulations. Simulations with versions of
the model after and including CCM3.3.31, may have initial datasets (ccmi* files).
Get a listing of the Mass Store directories you are interested in, and you'll
be able to figure out if the initial datasets exist. The above web-page also
has links to information on NCAR mass store and obtaining access to it.
Consult the CCM3.6 Users Guide for more information on these output initial datasets.

Currently if you don't have access to NCAR Mass Store there is no way (I know
of) to get these files. But, you could look into getting a NCAR account simply
to be able to access the NCAR Mass Store.
