NCAR: /fs/cgd/csm/mapping/grids or /fis/csm/mapping/grids
NON-NCAR: earth system grid (ESG)
Nomenclature
- gx1 : Greenland pole x1 (320x384) pop grid
- gx1v2 : Greenland pole x1 (320x384) pop grid, version 2 (only
different from gx1 in terms of land/ocn mask and kmt)
- gx3 : Greenland pole x3 (100x116) pop grid
- hx1 : Hudson's Bay pole x1 (384x320) pop grid
- r05 : 1/2 degree lat/lon grid, for runoff model
- T21 : gaussian ccm grid
- T31 : gaussian ccm grid
- T42 : gaussian ccm grid
- T62 : gaussian grid
- T63 : gaussian ccm grid
- T85 : gaussian ccm grid
- 1x1d : 1 degree lat/lon grid used by Levitus
If a second version of a grid is generated (different from the first
in its land/ocean mask, or more substantially different) then it can pick
up a version number, as is the case with name "gx1v2".
The grid files will be named as [grid name].nc
