Conversion Weights

NCAR: /fs/cgd/csm/mapping/maps/validated

NON-NCAR: earth system grid (ESG)


Are generated by SCRIP for the purpose of remapping the POP model onto a regular grid, or vice versa. SCRIP can generate two types of weights : conservative, and bilinear. For post processing, use the bilinear weights.

Authorized Distribution

The following weight files are freely available on the earth system grid (ESG). A short registration is required. These are the only weight files authorized to be distributed from NCAR. Contact Stephen Yeager for information about these files.
