Basically...
I am a scientific applications programmer in the
Oceanography Section of the
Climate and Global Dynamics Division at the
National Center for Atmospheric Research
(affectionately known as OCE, CGD, & NCAR, respectively)
in Boulder,
Colorado.
I have a degree in Mathematics from the
University of Colorado at Boulder .
Most of my work at NCAR centers around the
Climate System Model
(CSM) Project, in particular, I'm developing the Flux Coupler code.
Other projects include the continuing development of a Pacific Basin
ocean model used in ENSO studies (physics by Gent, Cane, et. al.),
and having developed an interactive 3D graphics utility.
