NCAR/CGD E-mail
See your group's Administrative Assisistant to be added to their group email alias. If you are not on their alias, the Administrative Assistant should notify ISG so you can be added to the "downtime" alias (so you will receive notices of servers/printers that are offline).

NCAR/CGD Computing

| Non-NCAR Equipment | CGD/IS does not support equipment that is not owned by NCAR. CGD/IS can arrange for connections to the wireless or guest network, but cannot assist with the actual connection. |
| Desktop | Visitors and new hires need to work with their sponsor to provide desktop equipment. CGD/IS can provide equipment (Linux desktop) if it is available. |

Note: Most CGD file systems are automounted. If the directory is not available on a system, try changing into the directory to 'trigger' the automounter into mounting the filesystem.

Passwords, Tokens, Accounts
| Account | Description |
| CGD | Access to CGD servers and e-mail. |
| CIT | Microsoft Windows logins and mapping shared drives for MS-Windows and Apple Macintosh systems. |
| CISL | Access to CISL HPC systems (ex, bluesky). |
| Yubikey/CryptoCard | Access to CISL systems, and for access to CGD perimeter systems goldhill.cgd.ucar.edu and moffatt.cgd.ucar.edu from outside. VPN access. |
| Meeting Maker | The calendaring/meeting/appointment system used at NCAR. |
| UCAS | For timecard, wireless heartbeat, RAS dialup, and some protected web pages. |
| Wireless | Temporary accounts that allow visitors to use the wireless network for outbound traffic only. Perfect for meetings, seminars, or short-term visitors. |
