Please contact the CGD/IS staff if this work will interfere with
any planned computing.


MS Windows Antivirus Software Updates
-------------------------------------
     A new version of the Symantec Antivirus software will pushed to all
     MS Windows systems. A reboot will be required to complete the installation.
     Please save all work and log off prior to the work Wednesday morning.

     Laptops will be upgraded the next time they are connected to the CGD network.
     Again, a reboot will be necessary to complete the installation.


Linux /usr/local Update
-----------------------
     An udpated /usr/local will be pushed to all Linux systems. This update
     will include a new version of Firefox that fixes reported security bugs.


Linux OS Update
---------------
     Operating system updates will be pushed to all Linux systems.
     A reboot will not be necessary.


Goldhill Down
-------------
     Goldhill will be down to update ssh.


Calgary Upgrade
---------------
     Calgary will be down for an operating systems upgrade from CentOS 4.3 to
     CentOS 5.3.


File System Checks
------------------
     The following partitions will be off line for file system checks:

     . /fs/cgd/csm
     . /fs/cgd/date0
     . /fs/cgd/home0
     . /project/acacia
     . /project/climate01
     . /project/clivar
     . /project/cseg
     . /project/ocmip
     . /project/paleo
     . /project/vemap
     . /project/wcp
