File System Integrity Checks

    The following partitions will be off line for integrity checks:

	/project/acacia
	/project/clivar

Linux /usr/local Update
-----------------------
    Firefox is the only upgrade. 

PC Reboots:
-------------------------------------
    The following Windows PCs will be rebooted multiple times. This is
    necessary for the installation of error and security logging
    software as well as the latest Firefox and Thunderbird.

	cgddefiantvm
	cgddragonflyvm
	cgdrambler
	cgdroadrunner
	cgdrome
	cgdrover
	cgdscrapper
	cgdsunshine
	cgdvela

    PLEASE LOG OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE, BUT DO NOT TURN YOUR SYSTEM OFF.

    Please also make sure your laptop is here the night before, on
    the network and powered on. Please turn "Standby" and "Power Saving"
    options off for the work. 

    To modify your power settings:

	. Click Start -> Control Panel
    	. Double Click "Power Options"
    	. In the "Power Schemes" tab, set System standby and system
    	  hibernates to NEVER
    	. Click Apply, then OK

    The remaining Windows PCs in the division will have the software
    installed in the following weeks.
