Bangkok, Calgary

The CGD HPC clusters Bangkok and Calgary will be down for
the installation of a new file server for the cluster /home
and /scratch/cluster partitions.

Poorman, Salina, Hurricane
--------------------------
The general use servers Poorman, Salina, and Hurricane will be down
for operating systems and common software upgrades. This is a
pre-cursor to a division wide update of all Linux systems scheduled
for Wed 30 Jan 08. Please notify the CGD/IS staff if there are software
problems on these systems.

ADDENDUM

/project/bgc1
-------------
/project/bgc1, which is currently using temporary storage, will be
taken off line permanently. Please make sure all necessary data is
transferred to other partitions.
