I am a visiting scientist in NCAR’s Climate and Global Dynamics Division, Climate Analysis Section. Currently, my other ‘hat’ is as a research scientist with the University of Colorado/CIRES.

My research interests center on understanding past, present and future climate change in the polar regions. To keep work interesting, I use a variety of tools and methods, including global climate models, data from ice cores and other natural climate ‘proxies’, and traditional ‘instrumental’ climate observations. I have travelled, physically and scientifically, to both the Arctic and the Antarctic. read more about my current research...
